Application fee
An application fee is a one-time charge for processing a funding request — $100 at Get Lit Money, charged on a client's first advance only and never paid out of pocket.
It is added to the amount repaid at settlement rather than collected today, and it does not grow over time.
If the case does not recover, the fee is canceled along with everything else.
Be cautious of any funder asking for a fee up front in cash. That is not how this product works.
