Case still open

Money now, on a case that hasn't settled.

An advance against your future settlement, from $500 up. You repay it out of the recovery — and if there is no recovery, you repay nothing at all.

On a $2,500 advance

$3,325

repaid at settlement if the case resolves inside the first six months. Half of ours do so within 171 days.

What it is

What pre-settlement funding is — and why it isn’t a loan

A pre-settlement advance is a non-recourse purchase of part of your future settlement. A lender is owed money whatever happens; we are buying into an outcome that might never arrive. If your case does not recover, the advance, the charges and the fees are all canceled — and we cannot pursue you, your wages, your bank account, your home or your credit for any of it.

That is also why it costs more than a bank loan. The price reflects the files that never repay at all.

People search for “lawsuit loans” and we use the phrase because that is what gets typed into a search box. It is not what the product is, and any company that lets you believe otherwise is telling you something important about itself.

Every figure is the total repaid at settlement — the advance, plus 25% of the advance for each six-month period, plus fees. Charges are simple: each period is calculated on the original advance, never on a growing balance. Assumes a first advance ($100 application fee plus $100 processing fee). Fees never grow and are never paid out of pocket. The final column is the 2× cap: at 24 months the amount repaid on the advance stops and never moves again, however long the case runs.

Structure

Why the number behaves this way

No compounding

Every charge is worked out on what we advanced you — never on a balance that has been growing on itself.

Six-month steps, not monthly

The number moves twice a year. Settle in month 4 and you pay what you would have paid in month 1.

A hard 2× cap

Once charges reach 100% of the advance — after month 18 on a pre-settlement advance — the amount you repay on it stops growing. It does not matter how long the case runs after that.

A person reviews your file

We are small, and that works in your favor. Settles within 30 days of a new period starting? Have your attorney ask, and we hold the prior rate. It is not automatic — their office has to ask before the payoff — but when they ask, we do it.

A rate you can work out yourself

25% per six-month period while your case is open, 15% once it has settled. Which one you get depends on a fact you already know, not on how strong we think your claim is. Whether it is worth $20,000 or $2 million, the number is the same.

Two fees, and that is the list

A $100 application fee on your first advance and $100 processing on each one. That is every fee we charge — no closing fee, no filing fee, no servicing fee, nothing that appears later.
