Release

A release is the document a claimant signs at settlement giving up all further claims arising from the incident, in exchange for the agreed payment.

It is permanent and comprehensive. Read what it covers — some releases extend to parties beyond the one paying you.

Do not sign until you understand it and your attorney has approved it.
