Are there upfront fees?
No. Get Lit Money charges a $100 application fee on your first advance and a $100 processing fee on each advance, and those two are the only fees we charge — but neither is paid out of pocket. Both are added to the amount repaid from your settlement, and neither grows over time.
You pay nothing to apply, nothing to be reviewed, and nothing if you are declined. There is no cost to find out whether you qualify.
If your case does not result in a recovery, you owe nothing at all — including the fees. They are repaid out of a settlement or not at all, the same as the advance itself.
On a second or third advance, only the $100 processing fee applies. The application fee is charged once.
Nothing else appears later either. There is no closing fee when the money is sent, no document filing fee on each advance, and no servicing charge for the time your case stays open — all of which are common elsewhere in this category.
