Do I pay anything out of pocket?
No. You pay nothing out of pocket at any stage — not to apply, not to receive the money, and not while the case runs. Everything owed is repaid directly from your settlement, and if there is no settlement there is nothing to repay.
There are no monthly payments. Nothing is due while your case is open. You will not receive a bill, and missing a payment is not possible because there are no payments.
At settlement your attorney repays us from the proceeds before the balance goes to you. That is what the lien on the case is for, and it is why the agreement you sign includes a written instruction to your attorney to pay us from the settlement first.
The $100 application fee and $100 processing fee are added to the settlement repayment rather than charged today.
