Iowa pre-settlement funding

Cash advances on Iowa injury and workers’ compensation claims — from $500. Most are sent the same day they are approved. If you don’t win, you owe nothing.

Same rate, everywhere we operate

25% per six-month period. Capped at 2×. No credit check.

We do not price Iowa differently from anywhere else, and we do not price your case differently from anyone else’s.

Lawsuit loans in Iowa

Getting an advance in Iowa

People search for “lawsuit loans in Iowa” — but these are not loans. A pre-settlement advance is non-recourse, which means it is repaid only from a recovery in your case. If your case does not recover, you owe nothing, and there is no personal debt to pursue.

To qualify in Iowa you need an attorney working on contingency, a claim with identifiable insurance or a solvent defendant, and clear enough liability. We do not check your credit, we do not ask for pay stubs, and being out of work is not a reason we decline — it is usually the reason people call.

The rate is the same here as everywhere else we operate: 25% of the advance for each six-month period, calculated on the original amount and never compounded, with repayment on the advance capped at 2×.

Iowa deadlines and fault rules

Personal injury filing deadline
2 years from the date of injury in most cases. Missing it ends the claim regardless of how strong it is.
Workers’ compensation
Notify your employer within 90 days, and file the claim itself within 2 years. This runs on a separate clock from the personal injury deadline above — do not assume one applies to the other.
If you were partly at fault
Modified comparative negligence — 51% bar. You can recover as long as you were not more than 50% at fault. Your award is reduced by your share of the blame.
Funding law in Iowa

General information about Iowa law, not legal advice. Deadlines have exceptions — claims involving minors, government defendants and injuries discovered late all run differently. Your attorney is the person to ask about your case.

The price

What an advance costs in Iowa

The same table as every other state we serve. We publish one schedule because the rate does not vary by state — 25% per six-month period while a case is open, 15% once it has settled — and if the number changed by state, the promise would not mean anything.

Every figure is the total repaid at settlement — the advance, plus 25% of the advance for each six-month period, plus fees. Charges are simple: each period is calculated on the original advance, never on a growing balance. Assumes a first advance ($100 application fee plus $100 processing fee). Fees never grow and are never paid out of pocket. The final column is the 2× cap: at 24 months the amount repaid on the advance stops and never moves again, however long the case runs.
