What documents do you need?
Get Lit Money needs your attorney's name and contact details, the basic facts of the accident, and the case file from your attorney's office — usually the police or incident report, medical records and bills to date, and the available insurance information.
You personally need to provide almost nothing. Step one of the application asks four things: your state, your case type, whether you have an attorney, and your phone number.
We request everything else from your attorney's office directly.
No pay stubs, no tax returns, no bank statements, no employment verification. None of that is relevant to a non-recourse advance against a claim.
