What if my attorney says no?
If your attorney will not work with us — confirm the facts of the case and send the file — the advance cannot proceed. Ask them why — the objection is usually to the cost of a specific offer or to a particular funder's contract, not to the concept, and it is worth hearing.
Attorneys who object usually have a good reason. Many have seen clients sign compounding agreements that consumed most of a settlement, and their caution comes from that experience.
It is a fair objection to put to us directly. Our terms are published — flat 25% per six-month period, no compounding, hard 2× cap, a projected repayment schedule in the contract itself — and those are the specific things attorneys object to elsewhere.
Ask your attorney to look at the attorney section of this site, or to call us. Most objections resolve once the actual terms are in front of them.
If they still say no, listen to them. They know your case and they are on your side.
