How do I receive the funds?
By direct deposit to your bank account. Most advances are sent the same day they are signed. Many larger banks show the money right away; others can take a business day or two. If you would rather be paid through PayPal or Venmo, the agreement lets you choose that instead.
The money goes to you, not to your attorney. It is yours to use for whatever you need — rent, groceries, car payment, medical costs, childcare.
There are no restrictions on how you spend it and no reporting requirement.
If you do not have a bank account, tell us on the call and we will work out the best route.
