Why was my application denied?
Applications are most often declined because liability is genuinely disputed, because there is little or no insurance coverage behind the claim, because the case is in a state we do not serve, or because existing liens against the settlement already exceed what the case is likely to recover.
A decline is not a judgment about you and it is not a credit decision. It usually reflects something about the case — most often that there is not enough identifiable recovery to advance against safely.
The most common single reason is stacked liens. If medical providers, a health insurer and a prior funder already hold claims on the settlement, there may be nothing left to advance against.
A decline is not always permanent. Cases change — liability firms up, treatment completes, a policy limit is confirmed. If yours does, apply again.
If we cannot help, we will say so plainly on the call rather than leave you waiting.
